Scientific interest: Serendipita indica an arbuscular like root endophytic fungus cultured axenically use as a model to study plant and fungal interaction. It promotes plant growth, improves salt stress tolerance, confers disease resistance, and functions as a phosphate-enriching fungus. There are several membrane transporters involves in nutrient exchange between the plant and S. indica. It's takes carbohydrate by hexose transporter from the plant and in return provide inorganic phosphate to plant by P transporter. I am trying to understand the expression analysis of Hexose transporters of S. indica at high and low concentration of phosphate in vitro and in vivo condition.
