Scientific interest: Staphylococcus aureus belongs to WHO priority human pathogens ESKAPE against which antibiotics have developed resistance. Staphylococcus aureus organisms usually colonizes human tissues, especially the skin and mucous membranes, it is a notorious pathogen that may cause from minor skin infections to potentially fatal diseases like sepsis, pneumonia, and endocarditis. The past two decades clear shifts in the epidemiology of S. aureus infections, latent threat to public health due to its ability to accumulate multi drug resistance (MDR), which presents a major issue in clinical settings, I am using CRISPRi (CRISPR interference) to know the role of various protein involved in the cell wall synthesis on survival of S. aureus and further designing inhibitor .
